Facia-mounted gearshift

This is ergonomically designed to fall naturally to hand and offer a smoother, more car-like, gear shift. The facia-mounted gearshift also gives a completely clear floor area, allowing passenger and driver unrestricted cross-cab access.

Practical stowage

There’s a place for everything, the interior is full of practical stowage for all your working papers and personal items. While the car-like comfort is echoed in the high quality materials on seats and headlining.

Innovative stowage

To help keep your day organised wherever you go, there are a number of innovative stowage places. The glovebox has been designed with rails to take A4 hanging files. There’s also a useful facia-top storage box with room for an A4 clipboard, plus a fold-out work surface with cup holders and two 12-volt power points – the ideal place when you need to catch up on a little paperwork between deliveries. And to safely store all those home comforts you might like to take on the road with you, there are two 2-litre bottle holders and a host of other clever stowage places throughout the cab.

Bluetooth® with Voice Control*

The optional Bluetooth® with Voice Control technology allows you to adjust various functions without taking your eyes from the road, or hands from the wheel. For instance, you can make and receive calls on your mobile, change stations on the radio or change CD track just by using voice commands.

Climate control

Whatever the weather conditions, you can travel in comfort. When it’s hot outside you’ll appreciate the enhanced cooling performance of the optional air conditioning. And when the temperatures drop, there’s also an optional fuel-fired heater.

Self-charging ignition key

Another unique feature of Transit is the waterproof key fob that self-charges. Just two minutes of drive time gives you enough charge for 32 button presses, so the key is always ready to work.

Cruise control

Controlled from two switches mounted on an ergonomically-designed 4-spoke leather steering wheel, cruise control makes travelling long distances far less tiring (optional extra).

Visibility Pack

Thanks to the combination of a 'Quickclear' heated windscreen, rain-sensing wipers and auto-headlights, you can see the road ahead, night or day, whatever the weather (optional extra).

Digital tachograph

The dash-mounted tachograph helps you to manage your business easily. It records driving and rest times, speeds, distance travelled and any faults that might have occurred, then stores this information for 365 days (optional extra).

Total flexibility

Transit is all about flexibility. It offers you the perfect vehicle for your needs, whether you are a florist, decorator or long distance haulier. We offer a range of four lengths and three roof heights to accommodate all your needs.

Generous rear loading

The full-size rear doors open to 180° and up to 256° on the Jumbo, to make loading a Transit just that bit easier. You can carry anything and everything; whether it’s 8′x 4′ boards, either flat or on their sides, or up to five Europallets (in a Jumbo Van). You’ll find the extended wheelbase is ideal for longer loads such as lengths of carpet and pipe.

Increased usable area

We have designed the load area to give maximum usability and functionality. In fact, the width between the wheel arches is the greatest in its class.

Practical and accessible

To protect your cargo and your van, we have designed a protection kit which includes MDF panels and a full-length rubber mat as well as ample tie-down points to secure everything you’ll ever carry.
